About JRC
Were we
Started.
Small repairs, big installations, and everything in between. Residential and commercial, across Peters Township and the South Hills.
Our Beginning
In 2022, JR Contracting, our parent company, took on a water main replacement project in Pittsburgh. To connect each home to the new water main in Allegany County, work had to be permitted and performed by a licensed master plumber. To provide the best service, JR Contracting hired a licensed master plumber and began installing water service lines—thus creating JRC Plumbing.
Growing Our Expertise
Over time, JRC Plumbing became its own entity under JR Contracting, becoming a fully insured and licensed contractor in PA. We expanded our services, acquiring certifications for gas lines and backflow work, while continuing to provide general plumbing services. Our years of experience in the local community highlighted the need for honest, quality plumbing in McMurry and surrounding areas.
Meet Alex Miller,
General Manager & Master Plumber
Alex Miller has a long personal and familial background in plumbing.
5 generations of Miller's have served their communities through offering quality plumbing workmanship.
As Alex grew up in the industry, he spent summers working with his dad -a master plumber- and learning about the trade. Following his passion, Alex started plumbing school in high school and acquired his master's license in 2020 with a test score of 91. He has spent years working and learning many different aspects of plumbing. Alex is skilled in underground plumbing and building sewers, repairing water lines, new construction, commercial and residential services, and even general contracting.
He is currently a resident in the local area and would love to work with his community members to protect and provide a happy and healthy home.
